The Pacific Basin Telehealth Resource Center hosted the Spring 2014 Telehealth Resource Center meeting in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi at the John A. Burns School Of Medicine (JABSOM) on March 4-5, 2014. All fourteen HRSA funded telehealth resource centers were represented at this meeting. The meeting provided an opportunity for the TRCs to exchange information, plan and coordinate joint TRC activities, and share lessons learned. The group focused on on-going issues for telehealth reimbursement, licensure & credentialing, malpractice, business models and sustainability. The TRCs hold bi-annual strategic planning meetings and the next meeting will be hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Telehealth Resource Center.
