On August 18, 2015, the Pacific Basin Telehealth Resource Center hosted a Telehealth Roundtable, along with other telehealth leaders in the State of Hawaiʻi, and met with Dr. Aimee Grace, Legislative Assistant for Health and Melika Carroll, Policy Adviser for Telecommunications of Senator Brian Schtaz’s Office to discuss the status of telehealth in Hawaiʻi, challenges and barriers, federal initiatives, and future opportunities for change.
