Community First Kuleana Health Fair: Choose Health. Choose Support.

In March 2026, PBTRC had the opportunity to join the Community First’s, Kuleana Health Fair, bringing telehealth resources and digital support directly to the community.

We brought with us our incredible partners from the Tech Savvy Teens program, who participate in our digital navigator and telehealth training. They showed up ready to help and eager to serve. Throughout the day, they worked side by side with our team offering tech support, helping community members navigate their devices, download important apps, and build confidence using technology.

What made the day especially meaningful was watching the students take initiative. They did not just wait for people to come to the table. They walked around the event introducing themselves, asking attendees if they needed help with their phones or devices, and offering support wherever it was needed.

It quickly became a true intergenerational exchange of learning.

At our table, community members were able to learn about upcoming AI safety workshops, register for free digital literacy and telehealth training courses, and receive hands-on support for their technology questions. Many shared that they had never realized how technology could help them access healthcare more easily.

Throughout the event, we reached 150 community members and had meaningful conversations with 82 individuals who stopped by to learn more about the resources available.

Most importantly, 38 community members received one-on-one support from our team and the Tech Savvy Teens. This included help registering for upcoming courses and AI workshops, downloading apps, troubleshooting devices, and building digital skills that will help them stay connected to important services and healthcare resources.

Moments like this remind us that digital access is not just about technology. It is about people helping people.

We are grateful to Community First for inviting us to be part of this event and to the Tech Savvy Teens for showing up with such enthusiasm, generosity, and heart. Partnerships like these make it possible to bring meaningful digital support directly to the communities we serve.
